Blackhawks!!

So i worked a double today and let me tell you it was insane. It was hot as balls out there and we all sweat through our clothing! Sweetheart and I (again no names will be used in my blog) were not that busy as we had very few actual tables in our sections, but we did get to enjoy the Blackhawks sweep the Sharks!

On that note a couple of coworkers came in and got a bit rowdy for the game. Muffy brought his shirt to twirl each time the Hawks scored or received a power play and what appeared to be his lover for the day, Trader, also decided to drink as much as possible in order to calm their heartbeats down. I literally took their pulses at one point. After the 3rd goal Dalton (you know who you are) and Dance Magic got out of their cheers to join in the celebration. I was lifted by Dance Magic and bounced around like a rag doll that I apparently appeared to be to them. The 40 seconds of the game let up and Muffy and Trader got out the brooms to show the Blackhawks swept the Sharks (in case you missed it and the constant screaming that was being emitted from the bar.) They also bought a bottle of champagne and sprayed it all over the outside and eachother, it was quite a spectacle for my customers sitting outside trying to figure out why 2 grown men were spraying liquour all over eachother, it was something you dont expect to see except for out of an erotic movie.

After this show of manly love the bar started to clear out to let the Kickball teams in and then the flip cup games began, which are amusing but also hard to work a tray around! The teams get so excited they knock their arms around and get to excited which can cause some mishaps with the servers. Luckily we are all experienced enough in the night time that we can maneuver around these crazy kids. There werent any great shenanegans happening today, but you never know what next week will bring.

Oh before I forget to add this in some of the staff went out to their favorite afterhours bar and took care of business. I guess a girl at the bar (not one of ours) started some shit with one of our bartenders (and seeing as how the person she felt the need to fight with was male and he has morals and doesnt hit a girl) one of our favorite siblings lets call her Black Eye proceeded to hit this girl in her face. She took care of my coworkers honor and got to stay in the bar! Being a regular has it's perks, and I am sure that this other girl deserved getting a nice punch in the face. I definitely am upset I missed it as I would be able to write better about this incident. Oh well maybe next time!?
