Karma

So tonight I worked another shift at Schoolyard and realized that Karma does exist. The people that I have been nice to and have helped out all came back to help me out. I had a group of guys in riding the rail (a drinking game we have at the yard, check it out if you havent done it yet) and they were all super nice guys. Apparently one of them has a ton of money and decided to pay for the whole party himself.

They were there for a "man shower" meaning that one guy is having a baby in a month and his buddies took him out drinking. I never heard of that but its and interesting concept nonetheless. Well the one guy thought the bill would be larger so he tipped me out based on what he thought the bill should have been. It was an outstanding amount to say the least. He said that since he made so much last year he wanted to spread the wealth, and boy did he ever. Everyone one of the guys was super sweet and made sure that I was doing alright as well. It was a nice change of pace from some of the people who feel they can run you around and not tip at all. I was hesitant to put gratuity on there for the pure fact that they had tipped out the other server so well. I asked one of the guys if I should grat the bill and he laughed at me and said I wouldnt if I were you, so glad I listened!

Basically Karma came through and made things good for the night. Everyone was super nice tonight and I had a good time. My brother also watched out for me as usual. I love that he works there because I know he will have my back, the other security guys do as well, but Eric is more protective I guess of me since we are related.

Anyway lets hope this continues to happen and karma sticks with me, I could use some more nights like this one. I am sure tomorrow will bring more crazy blogs about funny people! Look for more tomorrow night or monday morning. Good night Chicago!
